There comes a time in the maturation of every company that it needs to take a long, hard look in the mirror and ask itself a few vitally important questions:
Why are we in this business?
What do we hope to achieve?
What do we want to be known for?
The answers to these questions are the only reason our company exists, and they are the guiding principles driving every decision we make. That is why it’s so important to display a well-crafted Mission Statement as a constant reminder of the standards we will uphold and the goals that we will strive for. After careful consideration, we reached the conclusion that our Mission Statement was no longer providing perfectly accurate answers to these questions. So today, I’m proud to announce Water Doctors Water Treatment’s New Mission, as follows:
In keeping with these principles, we promise to show our appreciation and gratitude by continuously working to enrich and improve the community we serve through whatever means we can.
Notice that our Mission Statement now recognizes the importance of environmental sustainability and of green living. Additionally, while utilizing cutting-edge technology and studying the latest research have always been a core component of our business, we are placing an increased emphasis on passing that knowledge on to you, in the hopes that more knowledgeable consumers will make better-informed decisions about the water they use.
It’s important to note that certain facets of our Mission are essentially unchanged. For example, our commitment to treating customers the right way has been a priority from Day One, and it always will be. Additionally, our promise to enrich the community we serve is something we have continually worked to fulfill.
In the end, the new Mission Statement is just another part of our guarantee to never stop improving, to never stop asking ourselves what we can do better and how we can serve our customers better. That’s a statement that we can all endorse.
