3 stage filtration for those who have a working and efficient water softener system.

Inifinity Standard Conditioner

Stage 1

Fine sediment particles, sand, silica and iron oxide are trapped in a sub-micron filter. This filter is flushed and cleaned and backwashed to the drain when the Infinity™ system regenerates.

Stage 2

Water flows through granulated activated carbon (GAC). Water Doctors custom grinds the purest steam washed GAC to create our exclusive MicroPore™ Carbon. This media is universally recognized and widely used as an effective adsorbent for a wide variety of organic contaminants, such as chlorine (99.9%), chemicals linked to cancer (THM's, benzene) pesticides, herbicides, insecticides, volatile organic compounds (VOC's), PCB's, MTBE's and hundreds of other chemical contaminants that may be present in water, bad taste, and odors from your drinking water.

Stage 3

Water passes through a bed of pure KDF-85 (well water) or KDF-55 (city water). As the water makes contact with the KDF particles the Redox reaction takes place, removing such impurities as minerals, metals, dissolved oxygen and organic materials. When the contaminants and impurities found in water pass through this electrolytic cell, some substances, especially metals, react to the magnetic force exerted by the electrolytic cell and are attracted to the surface of the KDF particles, where they adhere and inhibit the growth of bacteria.
